My family went to see Wonder Woman on July 4, featuring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine. We were all excited, a woman superhero. The opening was great, edge of your seat, then the director lost interest. The movie dragged on, and was kind of confusing. Gal Gadot did well but they could have had someone better.  Chris Pine did okay, but I am not a fan of his. The fight scenes are like they came out of a –B movie. I almost fell asleep. The family liked it over all, but it was not close or even comparable to a movie like The Great Wall which is so much better, or other recent movies I have seen. To me the movie was a huge let down from current films. Those who like superhero films will love this I am sure, but I have a broader view of movies besides Superman etc. I had hoped that this movie would be over the top, it was not even up to knee level. I rate this 2 stars out of 5

The only superheroes that I liked as a kid were Thor and Wonder Woman because they were based on mythological characters. Its sad to think that this movie was a disappointment. Before I read this review, I was ambivalent about going to see it. This has made up my mind.

Wow, that is a scathing review from The Robot Chef! The trailer looked good too, but I think I will give it a miss after that.
    Thanks Alice.
