StevenF Review of Terminator Salvation

Terminator Salvation was released on May 21, 2009. In 2003, Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington) is scheduled to be executed, but before he is, he signs his body to Dynacorp. Fifteen years later, the war between Man and Skynet is in full fire. Marcus stumbles across Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin) in the ruins of Los Angeles. Reese is John Connor’s future father (Christian Bale) who is a leader of the Resistance.

There were a couple of points in the movie that didn’t make sense. I don’t always care for sequels, but this is one of the better ones that I have seen. The story line was comprehensible and there was plenty of action scenes. The three main actors were very believable and they played their parts very well. The CGI was also very kept Helena Bonham Carter and Bryce Katherine Harris were good in their roles, even though they didn’t have a lot of screen time.

Over all, this was a good movie. There was plenty of action without any gore. I would watch it again, but I probably wouldn’t buy it for my collection. I give this 4 stars out of 5, mainly for the story line and how it kept my interest. The acting was also commendable.
