StevenF Review of Svaha: The Sixth Finger

The Korean film Svaha: The Sixth Finger was released on February 20, 2019. Pastor Park investigates cults and finds himself in the middle of a murder investigation while investigating a local cult. There is also a story about twin sisters born in a village where one sister is considered evil and locked away in a shed, while the other sister has a normal life.

If this was considered a horror movie, it totally failed. This spent more time attempting to catch a killer of middle-aged girls and discussing the fine points of Buddhism. The acting was decent, but not much else was. The directing and storyline were all over the place. The film was 2 hours and 3 minutes long which was too long to hold my interest.

I was a bit disappointed with this film. I thought that it would be more of a horror story, but it failed. I can only rate this 2.5 stars out of 5. Save your time and watch something else.
