StevenF Review of Darc

This action-packed movie was released on May 1, 2018. Darc is about a man with a past who helps an Interpol agent (Armand Assante) rescue his daughter from the Yakuza. Darc (Tony Sciena) rescues the son of Toshi Kageyama (Kippei Shina) from a gang in order to infiltrate the organization.

This film was rated MA-TV for violence, foul language and partial nudity. There are plenty of fight scenes, lots of blood, and three beheadings (only one is shown on screen). Due to the Yakuza’s dealing in sex slaves, there are quite a few brief sex scenes and partial nudity. The fight scenes, however, were what kept me involved in this film. Since Mr. Sciena is a former Master Karate Champion, the fight scenes were well done, and the story line and direction flowed smoothly.

I would recommend this movie to everyone. It is definitely worth watching more than once. I rate it 5 stars out of 5.

  1. Remmy Meggs

A cute little boy who survives horrors and comes back years later as a martial arts master. What could be better than that? Vengeance, or should I say retribution for the bad guys is at hand. Sorta reminded me of a Marvel movie, but with lots more blood and gore. I do love my heavy doses of gore in some movies.

I agree with Steve 5 out of 5.
