Although Roy Orbison was way before my time, you cannot mistake his voice even fifty years later. No one has been able to sing like him then or now. He had an awesome string of hits. He touched many hearts as well.
I personally cannot say anything bad about the man. Yet a recent film brought him back to my attention, and I just had to revisit such a great and powerful artist.
If you are not familiar with his music look him up on Youtube, regardless of your age, you should be able to enjoy his music, it is timeless.
Which brings me to one of his lesser known songs. When I heard it I was thinking, is he talking about about war? I saw the movie twice so I could get the title, his voice alone told me who the artist was. Yes it was about war, something that we ALL seem to forget when we let a bunch of nut job arms dealers send our families to die.
So here it is, enjoy it.
