Read the whole review before judging: My friends and I watched Horrid Henry (Jan 2013), I watched it twice. I watched it twice because they said I was Horrid Henry. Blah. This is an English movie, and you can probably already guess it had horrid colors, worse socks, and terrible pronunciation of the English language. So in return I came up with names for them, Paul M. as Miss BattleAxe (played by Angelica Huston) Steven F. as Stuck up Steve, (played by Tyger Drew-Honey), Melissa L. as Miss Lovely (played by Parminder Nagra) Remmy, that is me, as Horrid Henry (played by Theo Stevenson) and a whole cast of cute kids.

Oh the movie. Well Henry is like most boys. He has a little brother ‘Perfect Peter’ that would drive anyone insane. For as being as cute as he is, Henry (also mistaken for Henrietta he is so cute) you would think everyone would love him, but no, whatever goes wrong in the school, Henry did it, even though he didn’t do it. A couple of pranks and now he gets blamed for everything, including getting their school closed.

For most boys, that would be great, except the boys have to go to expensive Brickhouse School, which is one of those crush your soul schools if you do not behave, and Henrietta’s Great Aunt will pay for him to go to an all girls school. Personally I thought that would be great, except at their age, girls don’t like boys, anymore than boys like girls.

The music is great, the acting is great, the directing is great, the color makes you think of Willy Wonka on drugs.

However I found myself laughing through the whole thing, and laughing even more when I saw it the second time. Keep in mind this is an English movie so be warned a lot of farts happen (See how schools affect the Environment). It will not be a movie I put in my collection, after all how much cuteness can anyone take? This really is a movie for kids 6 and up! But I still rate this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars. Enjoy it for what it is worth. Poor Henry.

We watched this movie at my suggestion even though I knew nothing about it. It was cute, sometimes overly so but I watched the whole thing.
If you are physically (and emotionally) 6 and upwards, you will enjoy this movie.

It’s a funny movie and worth watching just to see some fairly big name actors having some fun. The story is good and kind of believable. The inspectors really did look like real ones too!

It looks cute and the trailer has some funny scenes. Not sure I would watch the whole movie but I may give it a try.

You should watch the whole thing, maybe it will remind you of yourself when you were growing up. Besides you will see what it is like to get blamed for things you did not do. Unless of course YOU were always the one that did them.
