Wanted (2008) This is one of those movies that may go undetected as the title does not do it any justice. The story follows Wesley Gibson who works in a dead-end job and is bullied by his boss. He suffers anxiety attacks and lives with his girlfriend who is having an affair with his best friend.

He becomes the target of a hitman and soon learns that his life is about to change when he is recruited by a team of assassins called ‘The Fraternity’. When trained the hitman suddenly becomes the recruits new target.

The movie stars Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie amongst other big names and is a mixture of action, adventure, thriller and some comedy. The stunts are good but at times become a little far-fetched but still entertaining. The music score is also good too. I particularly liked the way the story moved along and there were no dull moments for the entirety. There is some foul language but not a great deal.

Overall, I would rate this a strong 4 out of 5.

This looks like a good adventure story with some funny moments. I admit I am not an Angelina Jolie fan, but Morgan Freeman more than makes up for this. 🙂

I watched this last night and I enjoyed it. James McAvoy is a great actor and brings his character to life. The ending was almost predictable, but a last-minute twist helped throw me off. Good job, Paul!

I picked this movie because I didn’t want to watch another zombie or girly movie, of course, AJ is old enough to be my mother, but the blurb was good so I picked it. It was a treasure, I enjoyed it immensely!
