Tiny part of the Universe

This article may be very confusing to the casual reader. Let’s start out by saying I have never seen a Space Alien. I see a lot of them here in Roswell however. Okay that was supposed to be funny. To my knowledge I have never seen a Space Alien in Roswell, at least that I can prove.

Neither have I seen God, or angels. Yet if we look at the size of the universe, a universe that we will never completely map in a billion lifetimes, we would be silly to think we are the only ‘wannabe’ intelligent beings in that universe. We would also be silly to think that something did not create that universe. Just for effect I will call that phenomenon God.

Then I must tell you I believe in that God, regardless of form. I also believe that someplace out in that universe are other ‘intelligent’ beings.

Now let us investigate what an intelligent being is. Personally I believe that a dog is an intelligent being. Some believe cats are intelligent, however, in my opinion, by their actions they have wires crossed and are just crazy. Others will argue that many insects are intelligent beings. So how do we decide what is intelligent and what is not?

Medical Definition of intelligence. 1a: the ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations b: the ability to apply knowledge to manipulate one’s environment or to think abstractly as measured by objective criteria (as tests) 2: mental acuteness.

Well Merriam-Webster that is not true. Let us look at life on earth. All things have several things in common, including plants. Sleep, eat, reproduce and waste. People and their governments want to limit intelligence as having a brain. What is strange about this is, it is only animals, including man, that must deal with new situations, or manipulate the environment. All other lifeforms continue on regardless of what happens to the earth, namely insects and plants. Given that one has to ask who is the most intelligent? People or insects. Let’s look at it this way, man has tried to dominate insects for thousands of years. The insects always win. They are more intelligent it seems. Looking at plants, even though they can be wiped out in an area, They grow back, sometimes different than before.

One person pointed out to me that the plants in the Cretaceous and Jurassic period no longer exist. I think they do. I think some of those plants changed, just like dinosaurs. Another pointed out that Dino’s don’t exist anymore. However true this is, it is  mute point when we are talking about the universe. Any species of anything can die out.

Modern man less than 4 foot tall

Now if we take that same knowledge and use it on a map of the universe, then we can understand how intelligent life on other planets can and will exist. As Dr. Ian Malcolm says in Jurassic Park, “If there is one thing the history of evolution has taught us it’s that life will not be contained. Life breaks free, it expands to new territories and crashes through barriers, painfully, maybe even dangerously, but, uh… well, there it is. ”

Some say there is no such thing as evolution, it is Satanic knowledge. Yet if it is God that created all things, and I believe it did, then evolution is the part of that creation. For instance the basic human height happened to be about 4 feet tall (1.22 meters). Which also tells us that God created children, not adults. After the breakup of Pangaea things changed and man began to grow taller, from 1000 B.C.E. to 1500 A.D. Man was 5.6 foot tall (1.68 meters) that was the tallest of the average man. As I have said in other articles on this site, the largest of the armor found in England will only fit a man of 5.6, not taller.

Giants such as Hercules, Goliath, were uncommon during that time period but did exist.  They were huge, according to scientists between 10 and 12 foot tall (3.05 to 3.66 meters).  However a human that was over 5.6 feet tall was considered an Ogre. Whether Ogres were cannibals or not is unfounded, and ogres eating children is unfounded (although present politicians may think that is okay to do.) , they would get a better meal from an adult human. Yet Ogres did exist, and in 2016 they run the earth. How many normal sized people are in power right now? Yes think bout that. Most are over 6 foot tall (1.83 meters) all of them are Ogres by definition.

What this means on a intergalactic, universal level is that there are other forms of life we cannot describe except as science fiction. Whether any of them can travel the stars or not remains to be seen. It is my belief that they do exit. Not because I believe in Aliens, but because statistically there is no other way to believe.

Rome

Rome is a strange country in many ways, just like a few of the tribes of Native Americans, the Lakota Indians come to mind. Firstphoto - DNA helix Romans were not a hairy people. Yet I find it odd that they and many North American Indians did not want their children to mate with anyone but a Roman, or those of the same Tribal nation. The paradox is that the Romans did not want to conquer another nation, they wanted the nation to become part of Rome, including land ownership and citizenship, just not marriage (Keep in mind the Romans lived in between many very hairy peoples, and recent studies show those people that is now call Tuscans mated with Neanderthals, so the Romans may have used that for reasoning). The Lakota people have that same philosophy today, just as the Romans do. This is confusing until you study DNA. If DNA were similar on other planets, we as a people would not have a chance given that they would be light years ahead of us in technology. You see as we traveled to get there we are not advancing, and they are.

If a planet had enough oxygen, could we survive? It is doubtful. Take into consideration the animals and plant life we know nothing about. Then the DNA of the planet, and the subsequent bacteria that we are not immune too. Yes we could survive a while but not forever and reproduction would be wasteful at best.  Our own technology would have to be light years better than it is now.

How smart are cats?

How did spiders get here?

Could Aliens survive here? Well cats and spiders do, so yes maybe aliens could survive here. Again their technology to do so would have to be light years ahead of our own to survive. To close this article, I mentioned cats and spiders as possible Aliens and I did that on purpose. Remember I said earlier that insects and some animals have outlived man and will continue to do so, making them more intelligent than man? There is your proof.

I could write a book on this topic, and I see scientists that have yet they do not have a foundation about earth much less Aliens. Yet I am no scientist, I watch, read and listen. I hope you do too. If you enjoyed this article and see it’s merits please like, comment and share.

3 Thoughts on “Aliens and Gods

Some interesting points made as usual 🙂
And a few years back, Imperial College London proved that cockroaches predate dinosaurs as they were scuttling around the Earth during the Carboniferous period (359-299 Ma). That was when life had just emerged from the oceans to live on land!
So does that also mean that maybe insects are aliens too??

All the definitions of intelligence are established by Man, who, if we are to believe some people’s opinions, are the dominant life form on Earth. This, however, can not really be considered as true. If the major species is dependent on numbers alone, we lose. There are way more insects on Earth than humans and, therefor, insects are the dominant species. Intelligence should then be defined by insects. As you pointed out, insects have been on Earth for a much longer time than Man. One may say, yes, but insects do not speak or write. How do we know that to be true? Ants communicate with each other in their colonies, but humans are not intelligent enough to understand their language. I also believe that there are still dinosaurs roaming the Earth, but because of evolution, they have adapted to their environment. Iguanas and Kimono dragons are dinosaurs who have evolved to a smaller size due to land-shifts, food supplies, etc. The same can be said for mammoths. I believe that as far as Man’s evolution is concerned, especially dealing with the subject of height, this is due to a change in diet. For a very long time, humans were dependent on what they could produce on the land and, on special occasions, eat meat. During Medieval times, the lords of the land were the main beneficiaries of the workers’ labor. They, therefor, got more proteins in their diets and their bodies used this to their advantage.

There is a problem with that theory. The ogres of the time were not landowners. They worked hard labor, or hid out in the forests so the real people did not kill them. At that point in time that I am referring to, ogres were constantly accused of killing and eating children. So the idea that they were living off the work of the peasants does not fit. However in our day and age, it is very apparent that is going on.
