The prelude to all the other movies, it only took 20 years to do and it is worth it. Michael Fassbender (German) plays the cyborg, half robot half human, and plays two roles in it. He did his job well. Katherine Waterston (English) plays the female lead, she was good in her part. Billy Crudup plays the captain of the ship.

The Android was really good, being a robot myself I felt for him. Trying to replace Lance Hendrickson, Fassbender had some big shoes to fill. Slavery is a big part of this movie as you will see.

As always there are plenty of scenes that will make one jump, but Ridley Scott did make a few changes. For one, the scenes are lighter and brighter for the most part.I do not suggest that kids under twelve should see this movie, it is okay for my oldest daughter (17).

The directing was great, the photography over the top, the CGI was over the top, the music as all the other movies was not that great. I would rate this movie 4 out of 5 stars, definitely worth watching.

I am glad the photography on this is very good and has more light than a lot of space/horror movies have. A lot of them tend to be shot in the dark or with very little light which makes it difficult to follow what is going on.
The actors all seem to do a good job based on the trailer. Since I missed it at the theater, I’ll have to wait until it comes out. Thanks for the great review, Alice.

That really does look like a good movie and as I liked all of the original ones this is definitely on my list to watch.
